There are so many bum marketing ebooks in the market today and they are all the same. There are no secrets or special tactics. If you have no idea what is bum marketing, it is basically article marketing and getting free traffic from google search engine. Bum marketing is extremely easy and you don’t have to waste money buying any bum marketing ebook.

Bum Marketing can be broken down into 5 steps.

1. Find a product to promote. Go to clickbank, commissionjunction or shareasale.

2. This is the most important of all the steps. Pick the wrong keywords and you will be wasting your time. When you do your keyword research remember the following points:
- based around the product you are promoting
- long tail keyword
- low competition
- good amount of search

So how low is low and how much search is considered good enough? It will depend on your seo and promotion skills. If you are just starting out, go for at least 500 searches with less than 20,000 competing pages. Sometimes I go for 100 searches or less if the number of competing pages is extremely low.

There are many types of long tail keywords. If possible find those ‘BUYING’ long tail keywords.

These are the keywords whereby the searcher is already in his ‘Buying’ mentality.

3. The third step is to write an article. There are so many ways to write an article. You can go hardcore and start promoting the product right away. (This works best for ‘Buying’ keywords). You can also start with a problem you have and how you solved your problem with the product.

4. Post your articles to sites that google love. I love the following 3

usfreeads

5. Get your articles indexed. The fastest way is social bookmarking. Use bookmarkingdemon and throw in your url.

Once indexed, you can use many other web promotion tactics. You can continue to use social bookmarking to increase web site traffic. You can do blog and ping. You can do blogcommenting. You can do blogfarm. You can do rss submission. I can go on forever.

Remember, you do not need a lot of links since your pages are based on low competitive keywords. Best of all, google love these sites. Google trust them. Google will rank your pages high. Ultimately, you are looking for search engine traffic.

Once you have mastered this simple system and begin to see some money. You can move on to more competitive keywords.
